Work Placement Coordinator

Reaseheath College is seeking to appoint a full time position aimed at enhancing work-experience for students at Reaseheath College. This role will be based in our Agricultural department but the post holder will be expected to support students from other curriculum areas at busy periods. The post holder will be supporting students on extended industry placements in preparation for the upcoming T-Level roll-out and students on a standard work experience programme.

The college prides itself on working closely with employers to ensure our students have the skills and experience required by industry. With state-of-the-art facilities we provide an excellent setting in which students can maximise their potential and develop their employability skills.

In order for our students to experience the world of work as part of their studies at college, we need you to help the College build and maintain excellent relationships with employers and monitor/develop the progress of students during their work experience period. You will also play a key role in safeguarding our students by assessing and minimising the Health& Safety risks at the employer sites.

With first-rate communication and influencing skills and a logical approach, you should bring a proven track record of delivering excellent results through effective co-ordination and organisation of a service.Excellent IT skills are also important, along with a self-motivated and flexible approach. As you will be regularly visiting employers you must also own a car and be willing to insure it for business use. All business mileage will be reimbursed.
