Instructor in Joinery

Are you a Site Joiner that holds a Level 3 qualification? Have you ever thought of working in a supportive, passionate and well-resourced teaching environment? We currently have vacancies in our excellent Construction department.

You would be both leading and supporting our learners during lessons in a range of subjects when delivering practical and classroom activities, you will ensure that the students have the basic skills they need to either enter the workplace or to move onto higher level courses. Your goal will be to motivate and enthuse everyone you work with to achieve their full potential.

With the ability to work on your own initiative, you should hold Level 2 (or equivalent) qualifications in English and Maths and practical experience of working in the Construction Industry. Strong team working and IT skills are important. A teaching qualification is preferred but not essential. (We can assist you in gaining your teaching qualification while working with us)

Please note this role constitutes 'regulated activity' as defined by the Protection of Freedom Act 2012. The successful candidate will therefore be required to undertake an enhanced DBS with barred list information prior to starting employment.
