Hourly Paid Lecturer - English & ESOL

Herefordshire and Ludlow College is a highly successful College with excellent outcomes for students, superb resources for learning and good financial health. The College operates from locations in Herefordshire & Shropshire. We provide a diverse curriculum to over 2,000 full-time and 8,000 part-time learners. This position is a great opportunity to make a significant contribution to an already thriving College.

We are seeking a flexible, highly motivated individual with appropriate qualifications and experience to teach on the GCSE, Functional Skills English and ESOL (English as a Second Language) and courses at the college. Your base will be at the Hereford campus in Herefordshire. There are currently 10 teaching hours available with a possibility of more becoming available.

The role will include teaching and assessment of learners working within award body specifications, primarily City & Guilds and Edexcel. You will demonstrate a passion for motivating and encouraging young and mature students to achieve to the best of their ability, helping them to realise the goals that will change their lives.

Interview date: 17th December 2018.

This role will commence in January 2019.
