Lecturer in Agriculture (Further Education)

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Agricultural Lecturer who is a specialist in one of our areas within the agriculture department (Dairy, Beef & Sheep Production). The successful candidate will be highly motivated, student focused and has strong interpersonal skills. You will be expected to deliver exceptional teaching which will assist students to achieve excellent results. You will be able to inspire students to appreciate and enjoy all aspects of agriculture, instilling in them a passion for the subject and a desire to develop their understanding. You will also deliver BTEC units at level 3, as well as being a course tutor for a group of students.

The successful candidate will hold or be required to work towards a teaching qualification. You will also be a strong team player, have excellent administration skills and demonstrate a willingness to engage with external partners and industry. Ideally you will possess an appropriate degree and be able to demonstrate a range of practical skills. Experience of delivering Agriculture within the Further Education sector is desirable.
