Animal Collections Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and professional individual to lead the next stage of the development of our extensive animal collection at Plumpton College. Our established and wide ranging collection of exotic, small and large animal species is the hub of the College’s thriving animal management provision with students on courses ranging from Level 1 to BSc (Hons).

We are seeking an individual who will adopt innovative approaches to the development of the collection as well as maintaining and delivering a high quality teaching resource to enhance our students’ experience. You will need to be qualified to degree level in animal management or a related subject as well as demonstrating extensive experience of working in the animal industry. Experience of education and a commercial perspective would be desirable. You will be an inspirational leader, who is well-organised, flexible and ready to lead and motivate a team to succeed.
