We are currently seeking a full time or part time Lecturer within the Sixth Form at the Filton Campus of South Gloucestershire and Stroud College. We are looking for a Lecturer preferably with successful classroom experience who has genuine knowledge of, and passion for, their subject and the ability to inspire and enthuse students of all ages and backgrounds.

The candidate appointed will be expected to teach A Level, Access and GCSE Psychology and Sociology.

Applicants for the above post will be joining a successful department with high achievement rates. The successful candidate will have an excellent track record in teaching and demonstrate a commitment to achieving the best for each student to maintain the high standards within the department.

The position requires at least a degree level qualification in a related field and candidates should hold, or be willing to work towards, a PGCE or qualified teacher status.

Expected Interview Date: W/c 17th December 2018.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain and maintain a satisfactory Disclosure Certificate, Enhanced with Children’s Barred list check, as a requirement of the job.
