We are seeking a part time Attendance Co-ordinator to work closely with students in the Business School, their parents, Lecturers and other College staff, supporting students in a proactive way to ensure they attend College regularly and achieve their learning goals.   

Main responsibilities are identifying and acting immediately on problems relating to student attendance, punctuality and progress to ensure that students maintain an excellent attendance record. You would maintain student attendance databases, produce reports on different groups and discuss students’ progress with teaching staff. You would also arrange student disciplinary meetings regarding attendance and carry out related administration.

You will need to possess good organisational and administrative skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages. You should have good literacy and numeracy skills, be pro-active and have a confident telephone manner. Experience of working with young people in an educational environment would be an advantage. The post-holder will work Monday to Friday, with a start time of 8.30 / 8.45am each day.
