Employability and Enterprise Manager

37 hours per week.

Are you a careers professional with the ability to work across further and higher education? Do you have an unequivocal commitment to excellence and want to inspire others? If so we are looking for you to join our newly established Student Success team! 

Working as part of the core Student Success team, everything you do will strive for excellence in supporting students to achieve their goals. You will lead a small team delivering high quality careers advice and guidance, alongside supporting our students with work experience and work placement, professional development, student CPD and enterprise enrichment. 

Engaging with HE and FE managers, you will ensure that our learners have work placement provision in place, maximise their work readiness by delivering an engaging, structured programme of CPD that facilitates personal development along with the refining of skills and attitude needed to progress into employment or education. This is a new role which extends our careers work to include support for enterprise. 

To succeed in your application you will have prior experience in HE careers advising, have developed successful approaches to student careers advice and guidance in a post-16 setting, and have a thorough knowledge of the work experience and placement process. It would also be advantageous to hold a mentoring or coaching qualification.
