Work-Based Tutor (Sportsturf & Horticulture)

With growing numbers of Sportsturf Apprentices, there is now an exciting opportunity for an adaptable work based tutor to join our growing national delivery team. This is a field based role and you will work flexibly completing on site teaching, learning and assessment across the South Coast of the country specialising primarily in Sportsturf with some Horticulture learners. Part of the role will also involve being an Independent End-point Assessor on behalf of Myerscough College for Land-based Assessment Ltd – serving other college’s learners in the consortium carrying out Golf greenkeeping and sportsturf end-point assessments for the new Standards.

It is essential you hold a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Sportsturf and willing to be trained to achieve other qualifications that support the role. You will have a flexible approach to your work, hold a full driving licence and be comfortable to travel as required. You must have sound industrial experience with a passion to imparting this knowledge on to new apprentices in the workplace. You will have strong administration and organisational skills and high levels of attention to detail. This role will ideally suit someone with existing educational experience or someone from industry looking for a career change.
