Work Place Tutor - Joinery
The RNN Group incorporates Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and its five subsidiary training organisations. Working as part of our Work Based Learning team your key tasks will include the delivery and assessment of qualifications within Apprenticeship programmes in your selected areas (including Functional Skills). Most of the role will take place at Employer sites across an agreed geographical region. You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations. A driving licence and access to a car is required to enable you to fulfil this role
Have you got what it takes?
You will need to have experience delivering and assessing apprenticeships. We are looking for candidates who are qualified to deliver in wood occupations/joinery with the flexibility to cover other construction disciplines. You must have completed a recognised Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1 or TAQA). An IQA and/or Teaching qualification would also be an advantage but is not essential, as long as you are willing to work towards obtaining one with the full support of the RNN Group.
