What is this role?

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Student Experience Officer to join our team in a fundamental role within the centre. You will provide advice and support to students on visa requirements whilst promoting the highest standards of quality, efficiency and customer care in all matters relating to student services. If you have the ability to work consistently to strict deadlines, rules and regulations then this is a fantastic chance for you to join our global network.

What experience/skills do I need?

  • Experience of imparting information and advice to speakers of other languages to ensure understanding (Desirable)
  • Sound understanding of UKVI rules and regulations (Desirable)
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Able to use initiative and work alone where necessary to complete tasks as well as in a team
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage own time effectively
  • Ability to use IT systems effectively to produce reports and record information, including database and creating presentations
  • Highly developed organisational skills
  • Ability to understand and apply systematic thinking
  • Ability to demonstrate keen attention to detail
  • Ability to work consistently to regular routines

What else do I need to know?

This is a part time role of 30 hours per week 08:30 – 15:00 Monday – Friday. The post holder is required to work 37.5 hours per week for a specified 14 weeks per year, 08:30 – 16:30 Monday - Friday.
