Information, Advice and Guidance Worker

We have a great opportunity at HMP Downview to join the education team as an Information, Advice and Guidance Worker on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

The purpose of this role is to support and offer guidance and advice to learners with regards to their resettlement back into the community.

To do this successfully you'll need to:

• To hold or be willing to work towards a level 3 information, advice and guidance qualification within an agreed timescale
• To hold or be willing to work towards level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy within an agreed timescale
• Have relevant experience of conducting initial assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups
• Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities
