Work Place Tutor - Electrical (Part Time)

18.5 hours a week.

About the role

This is an opportunity to support and assess Electrical Installation apprentices from some of the UK's best employers. Working as part of our Work Based Learning team your key tasks will include the support and assessment of competence based qualifications within Apprenticeship programmes in your selected areas. Most of the role will take place at employer sites across an agreed geographical region.

Have you got what it takes?

The successful candidate will have at least a HNC/D qualification in an Engineering subject and a proven track record of working in their relative industry along with subject matter delivery experience. Possession of a teacher training qualification and the TAQA assessor award would be a distinct advantage. You must be passionate and professional with the ability to bring the subject matter to life while engaging with a wide variety of learners. You will need to be able to build good relationships, manage a caseload of apprentices and communicate effectively with a diverse range of people and organisations.
