Possible Start Date: 7th January 2019
Working Week: Mon to Thurs 08.30 - 17.00, Fri 08.30 - 16.30, 1 hour lunch

The successful candidate will be working within a team and providing support with the following duties:
- To be aware of the correct procedure is followed for the addition of new customers and vendors.
- To handle and log incoming calls from internal and external Customers.
- Assist with the co-ordination of labour.
- To assist with the process all Engineers Timesheets and Worksheets and record using the relevant IT systems
- To assist & understand the quoting and placing of orders for parts on the relevant ERP system
- To assist with invoicing for all areas of the service business.
- To assist with the control of the Regions WIP to ensure this is kept to a minimum
- To assist & understand the Returns and Warranty process for parts.
- Assist with credit control
- To ensure that systems and procedures are followed and highlight problems identified to the Line Manager for all tasks.
- Assist with ad hoc duties as and when they arise.
Entry requirements
- GCSE Grade 4/C or above including English & Maths (or equivalent)

- Good keyboard skills.
- Good communication skills
- Keen eye for detail
- Flexible and pro-active approach
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
- Ability to liaise with all levels of people (internal and external)
Personal Qualities
- Good communicator, flexible, not afraid to ask questions or raise queries.
- Experience of an office environment would be desirable but not essential.
- Proactive with good work ethic and a willingness to help.

- Functional Skills qualifications (if required)
- Apprenticeship training will include College workshops, online learning and independent study
- Regular visits from the College into the workplace
- Observations and assessments in the workplace
- Use of e-portfolio

- Ongoing training and support from the College and employer
