This is a fantastic and exciting opportunity to join a company who fully support Apprenticeships. We wish to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Office Assistant to join our busy office-based Sales & Operations team.
The successful candidate will be working in the Sales & Operations team. Throughout your apprenticeship you will have ongoing support from your line manager and the wider team.
We are seeking candidates with good literacy, numeracy and IT skills, who are highly motivated to ensure that our customers’ orders are efficiently and cost effectively supported to meet both customer requirements and engineer availability.
The job role will consist of some of the following elements:
- Answering incoming calls and resolving customer queries
- General assistance in the day to day running of the office to include greeting visitors, responding to emails, filing, scanning and photocopying.
- Assisting the Operations Coordinator in organising cost effective travel and accommodation arrangements for engineer visits.
- Assisting the Operations Coordinator in raising Purchase Orders for equipment and batteries to ensure they are available to meet agreed delivery dates and engineer site visits.
- Requesting proof of delivery from suppliers once the equipment has been delivered.
- Checking Suppliers invoices against BCL purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- General support of the Sales and Operations team as required.

Entry requirements
- Ideally, GCSEs Grades A-C or 4 – 9 in English & Maths
