Manufacturing Apprentice

Apprenticeship duration: 12 months

Working week: Monday to Thursday 7:45am to 4:45pm Friday 7:45am to 1:45pm. Total hours per week: 40.00.

The Apprentice position will work inside the operations team learning different processes and moving from area to area over the course of the year. To succeed candidate will need to demonstrate good work ethic understanding that profitability of the company depends on the discipline of the workforce in producing goods to a high standard on time.

Ramfoam are on an exciting journey and growing rapidly. We are looking to invest in apprentices as the business expands.

Whilst many of the jobs are repetitive there is sufficient variety to sustain interest including CNC machining and CAD CAM manufacturing. We have just made some expansion joints for the Qatar world cup stadiums.

The company is small enough where your efforts will not go unnoticed, and you have the chance to join a growing firm. The canteen and welfare facilities are good and the workplace a nice environment to be. The teams are friendly and there is a good works atmosphere.

Your duties would include:

• Primary operations
• Secondary operations
• CNC machining
• Using CAM such as AlphaCAM
