Learning Development Coach

Nottingham College is one of the largest further education colleges in the country creating opportunities for employment and progression to higher education for the people of Nottingham and Nottinghamshire; raising their prosperity and that of the local economy.

To support our journey from good to outstanding we wish to appoint inspirational teachers to act as Learning and Development Coaches with ER experience. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about improving the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and eager to help other teachers to secure high quality learning and progress. You will contribute to embedding the teacher development strategy and work closely with teachers across the full range of the college provision to assess and enhance the quality of the learning experience. This role is pivotal in driving quality improvements in teaching, learning and assessment and will involve:

  • Coaching, mentoring and leading professional development
  • Developing innovative learning methods and resources
  • Conducting observations and learning walks
