Milton Keynes College has a great opportunity for a Credit Controller to join our finance team.
At Milton Keynes College, the Finance team are at the heart of the Business Partner support areas and require maximum efficiency and accuracy within the team. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for maximising cash flow and minimising working capital by ensuring prompt payment of all accounts to protect the profitability of the College through the prevention of bad debts.
This role will involve following the College’s credit control policy and procedures on routine chasing by telephone, email and letter. The successful candidate will deal with payment queries and disputes from clients, accurately maintaining the credit control logs on all overdue invoices/student debt.
As the successful candidate for the role, you will have experience of working within a similar role. You will be able to evidence your proven ability to work with meticulous attention to detail, problem solve and meet strict deadlines.
Good customer service is essential, and the successful candidate will be comfortable communicating with internal stakeholders, students and our business clients to provide an appropriate, efficient and effective service. We are looking for someone with a positive and confident telephone manner, who has a strong work ethic and is able to prioritise effectively and be accurate when working under pressure.
