Farriery Field Officers
Typical workload would be 16 apprentices - final salary will depend on allocation of apprentices.

The College operates from four main locations: Hereford, Ludlow, Holme Lacy and Shrewsbury. We provide a diverse curriculum to over 2,000 full-time and 8,000 part-time learners. These positions are a great opportunity to make a significant contribution to an already thriving College.
The college wishes to recruit a number of Farriery Field Officers to support the Farriery apprentices based across the country. You will have a background in farriery, a clear understanding of the commitments of an Approved Training Farrier (ATF) and have a passion for working with apprentices within the farriery environments.
The apprentices attend college for 2 blocks per year and spend the rest of their time working alongside their ATF.
You will be given responsibility for visiting a number of apprentices every 12 weeks. You will be given responsibility for a distinct region of the UK. The regions will include South Wales & the Marches, South West, South East, North East, North Wales & North West and Scotland.
You will be home based and work for the college for an agreed number of days per year working with an agreed number of apprentices. Your salary will be commensurate with the agreed workload.
