The RNN Group incorporates Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and its five subsidiary training organisations. We are based in the East Midlands and the South Yorkshire region and aim to help companies succeed and individuals learn their way to career security, fulfilment and happiness. About the role.

In this exciting role you will be responsible for providing excellent careers and employability information and advice to our students to help them progress into positive destinations. You will deliver 1:1 interviews and group sessions covering topics such as progression, UCAS and labour market information. You will set SMART targets to support aspirations and career goals. 

You will liaise with curriculum areas to ensure that sessions cover the topics students need more information on. You will work across the college to implement our careers programme and the Gatsby Benchmarks. 

In this role, you can genuinely change lives through offering students the support and guidance they need to help them decide on the steps they need to take in order to help them achieve their aspirations.

Have you got what it takes?

We would like you to have experience working with young people in a careers information and advice setting. You will be expected to manage a caseload of learners delivering 1:1 interviews and group sessions. You should also have English & Maths qualifications at level 2, and a Level 3 or above in Information, Advice & Guidance. An in depth knowledge and understanding of the routes available, including up to date labour market information, is essential.
