Working days expected to be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The Uxbridge College Sports Academies aim to provide the opportunity for students from across the College to participate in sports activities and compete against other schools and colleges on a regular basis. 

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic individual with an active interest and knowledge of sport. You would organise and co-ordinate the College’s Sports Academies which currently include Football, Basketball, Netball, Rugby and Cricket for students at both Uxbridge and Hayes campuses. Responsibilities will include monitoring the take up of the Uxbridge College Sports Academies, maximising participation among talented 16-19 year old students and ensuring the best use of College facilities. You would also arrange appropriate fixtures and venues, arrange or participate in coaching and assist with sourcing funding for sports activities.

Educated to Level 3 (‘A’ Level or equivalent), you should have experience and knowledge of a range of sports and preferably hold a coaching qualification in at least one. The role will involve driving the College minibus to matches and therefore applicants must hold a full, clean driving licence and be willing to undertake minibus driving training. You should be flexible, pro-active and well-organised with good communication skills and will be able to interact well with students, staff and external organisations.
