HMPYOI Aylesbury have an excellent opportunity for a Music and Radio Tutor to join the team within the education department.

As a creative and passionate Music and Radio tutor / lecturer, you will be tutoring young adults between the ages of 18 – 22 within the prison environment. Using your knowledge and skills to support and inspire learners, you will be teaching Music and Radio, and helping the learners to develop confidence and achieve success. 

HMPYOI Aylesbury has its own recording studio and access to software, which enables the learners to gain valuable experience within not only Music and Radio but also with the embedding of Employability, Maths and English. Learners can apply their skills to secure sustainable employment upon release. As a successful Music and Radio Tutor, you will be delivering Level 1 and 2 NCFE accredited courses, which covers Music Technology and Radio Production.

As a Lecturer within our Milton Keynes College Offender Learning team, you will help to develop a strong Music and Radio programme that meets the needs of the learners, prison and Milton Keynes College.
