The College is now seeking a Lecturer -Joinery to supplement the delivery of qualifications within the Construction curriculum area and will be based at the College site at Dearne Valley College, Wath upon Dearne.

Have you got what it takes?

You will hold a relevant qualification at Level 4 or above along with a teaching qualification and have the ability to deliver across a range of levels in Further Education. Current vocational knowledge and experience to positively promote employability for learners working towards Construction placements and apprenticeships is required.

You will play an important role in developing creative resources to inspire outstanding learning and will be responsible for the monitoring and tracking of learner progress to promote positive outcomes.

You will need to be an effective and motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives. You must be fully committed to the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults to help students reach their full potential. By doing so you will develop links with employers to provide our students with the opportunity to gain work placements that will support them to be work ready and go on to have successful careers.
