Skills & Employability Coach (Engineering & Construction)

The RNN Group incorporates Rotherham College, North Notts College, Dearne Valley College and its five subsidiary training organisations. The role.

You will plan, promote and deliver employer aware, employer experience and employer ready activities for all learners. You will set high student aspirations, develop their work skills and prepare them for their future within the Engineering and Construction industry. You will seek and develop effective relationships with local businesses to ensure meaningful employer involvement in order to allow your learners to fulfil their potential.

You will be responsible for setting targets with learners and employers and tracking learner progress to promote positive outcomes. You will positively embrace change and equally understand the challenges faced within the Further Education sector. You will be a highly motivated team player, with excellent interpersonal skills and ability.

Have you got what it takes?

We are looking for someone who has a passion for the vocational industry area with a view to becoming an advocate and expert understanding the skills agenda. Ideally you will be subject specific qualified with Assessor or Training qualifications, or have substantial experience within the Engineering and Construction field with experience of delivering work based training. You will need to be a great team player and work effectively with colleagues and management to achieve strategic and organisational objectives.You must be engaging and have an understanding of how to get the best out of your learners and inspire them to reach their potential.
