This is an exciting opportunity to join the Business Performance Improvement and Customer Care team at CU as a Quality Officer. Whilst this role is based at the CU Coventry campus, it will encompass all of our campuses.
You will be at the forefront within the field of quality improvement and quality assurance. As a member of the team, you will work as an effective team member, promoting Quality Management throughout the business and the CU Group. You will provide support to the Compliance and Continuous Improvement Manager and the wider team.
You will contribute to the effective operation of the Quality Management System (QMS) by ensuring that required processes for the QMS are implemented, embedded and maintained. You will be responsible for the support and delivery of the QMS (internally and at customer end), and areas of business compliance. You will have an excellent understanding of ISO 9001 and/or professional and higher education assurance systems, as well as data compliance requirements. Candidates should have demonstrable experience in the field of quality improvement and quality assurance/management.
This is a hands-on role that requires an enthusiastic and innovative individual with knowledge of ISO9001 or quality assurance systems. You must be able to think on your feet, work independently but also as part of a team. You should possess excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure is essential for this post.
You will be expected to work 36.5 hours per week and this will include some evenings and Saturdays. This is a permanent post with a start date of ‘as soon as possible’.
