Education Administrator

HMP Stocken have an exciting opportunity for an Education Administrator to join our Offender Learning team.

As and Education Administrator, your role will include student support, general administration tasks as well as exams officer responsibilities. You will work to increase efficiency and co-ordination of the exams process within the prison alongside supporting student needs. This role will also involve working with Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) – auditing the documents, ensuring they are completed correctly.

This is a varied and challenging opportunity; and would suit an experienced administrator looking to develop existing administration skills within a professional and collaborative environment.

We are seeking a capable and experienced administrator who will provide a high quality service to both internal and external stakeholders within the prison.

This role involves supporting the Department Manager in the day-to-day administration and operations of the Department. The ability to work on your initiative with minimal supervision is critical to this role as much of the time you will be required to work self-sufficiently.

The successful candidate will have excellent administrative and customer service skills with experience assisting in the smooth running of exams processes. You will work closely with the Education team being the main point of contact for exams queries, responsible for maintaining a high level of efficiency throughout the exams process, including invigilating and scheduling exams. Knowledge of a teaching environment is advantageous but not essential.
