MK IAC, a national award winning organisation is based on site at Milton Keynes College. Led by Founding Director Anouar Kassim MBE, with a strong track record of employing creativity and cultural activity to enhance community cohesion and connection.
Whilst this role is based at Milton Keynes College and working in close partnership with the college, you will be contracted via the MK IAC organisation.
The organisation has a ten-year track record of delivering its pioneering Art in the Park Festival in Milton Keynes. Art in the Park is an annual intercultural celebration, combining arts and popular entertainment.
Having recently achieved BIG Lottery Reaching Community funds for a three-year programme branded as “One Journey - Connecting Communities”, the organisation is looking to appoint a part-time Administrator and Communications Officer, on a fixed term contract for the duration of the project.
The Officer will support all aspects of the development and delivery of MK IAC and its activities, but with a particular focus on One Journey - Connecting Communities. The post holder will be responsible for MKIACs administration and upkeep of MKIAC’s marketing, social media and web content management. Admin duties include responding to phone and e-mail enquiries, arranging and servicing meetings (including minute taking and record keeping). Other duties include supporting the delivery team, booking venues, assisting contracts, organising travel arrangements and providing PA services to the Founding Director.
