Possible start date: 5th November 2018

Working week: 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday with one hour lunch break. Total hours per week: 35.00.

Kingfisher are looking for a responsible individual to assist with the administrative processes, as well as providing general secretarial support to enable the smooth and effective running of the office with ability to be able to deliver excellent customer service skills.

Duties include:

  • Meeting and greeting clients visiting the office
  • General office administration duties: photocopying, etc
  • Following up business leads
  • Ensuring compliance with Consumer Protection Regulations and GDPR
  • Further responsibility for invoicing, booking various appointments
  • Effective diary management
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing telephone calls
  • Maintenance of filing system
  • Dealing with incoming and outgoing post
  • HR Support
  • Admin processes in relation to new starters, leavers and changes to contracts
  • Admin support for the Workforce Development Team
  • Note taking at formal meetings such as disciplinary and grievance meetings
  • Using HR systems to ensure records are kept up to date
  • Ad-hoc HR queries
  • Accounts support
  • Working within Accounts team, you will assist Management with all matters relating to Finance and Administration
  • You will be required to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Your course will support you with developing your skills and knowledge with SAGE Line 50 and all accounting processes within the business
  • Marketing support
  • Provide administration support to the Marketing Team
  • To receive and record all marketing enquiries into the office via telephone and email and allocate to the sales team via the CRM system
  • Assist with marketing campaigns across multiple channels including social media
  • Any other duty deemed by the Directors to be in the interest of the team in achieving its objectives
  • To assist the Operations department in ensuring the companies compliance with all relevant legislation
  • To assist in any activities that are aimed at achieving the Company’s success as requested by the Directors

Desired qualifications

A - C ( 9 - 4) GCSEs or equivalent
