We are looking for a forward thinking Engineering Manager who can understand the challenges we face and opportunities that change can bring and help to lead a team of people to meet those challenges with enthusiasm and a passion to succeed.

The Faculty Area Manager will support the Head of Faculty to provide outstanding operational leadership for all aspects of the development, management and delivery of a high performing curriculum within the Faculty of Technology. The FAM will provide operational leadership and management, and support the HOF in setting and delivering the strategic aims for the area.

Specifically for this role you will need an awareness and experience of:

  • Engineering programmes across multiple levels and disciplines       
  • Higher Education courses
  • Working with external agencies and stakeholders
  • Up to date knowledge of trends within FE/HE
  • Knowledge and experience of Apprenticeship standards, frameworks and end point assessment, as well as levy and funding rules
