About the Role:

Do you have a passion and flair for promoting and selling products to prospective clients? If so we want to hear from you!

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Adviser (known internally as a Sector Engagement Officer) to join our team. In this key role you will be targeted on selling apprenticeship schemes to a specific sector and will receive a bonus for anything above and beyond this target. Apprenticeship knowledge is desirable.

You will source prospective clients and gain a full understanding of their business and requirements. In addition you will promote relevant products and services and identify opportunities for additional add on services.

It is essential that you can build effective relationships with new clients, and are good at networking as you will attend at least 4 business networking opportunities / meetings per month.

You will build and manage the new sales pipeline and identify opportunities for work experience, work trials and employability support to benefit the wider college.

About You:

To be successful in this role you will need to have previous experience in sales or customer service environment and experience of working towards targets. A qualification in GCSE English A*- C is essential.

An enthusiastic and proactive individual, you will have a good work ethic, with excellent communication skills.
