IT Apprenticeship (L3)

Possible start date: 7th January 2019

Working week: Mon - Fri, 37.5 hours per week

Do you enjoy fixing and repairing computers? Would you like to work within an IT environment? We have employers in the Milton Keynes area who are looking to recruit apprentices to work within their IT departments to assist employees and customers.

The successful candidate will be providing support with IT issues.  Main responsibilities could include:

• Receiving incoming calls and emails
• Logging issues on system
• Responding to issues in a timely manner
• Diagnosing and resolving IT problems
• Fixing and repairing IT issues for customers and employees

Entry requirements

GCSEs Grade C or above in English & Maths (or equivalent)

An IT qualification would be beneficial

Predicted grades will be acceptable

• Ability to diagnose and solve problems

Qualifications taken

• Apprenticeship Standard for Infrastructure Technician
• Functional Skills qualifications (if required)
• Attendance at College
• Regular visits from the College into the workplace
• Observations and assessments in the workplace
• End point assessment
• Ongoing training and support from the employer
