Hairdressing Apprenticeship (L2)

Possible start date: 4th February 2019

Working week: 40 hours per week, Monday to Saturday

Are you looking to start a career in Hairdressing? We are currently looking for candidates who would like to start an Apprenticeship in the summer of 2018. If you would like to be considered for any of our employer vacancies, please apply.

You will be working within a salon and supporting colleagues with the following duties:

• Answering telephone calls
• Booking appointments for clients
• Making refreshments for clients
• Ensuring the salon is clean and tidy
• Washing and shampooing hair
• Assisting the senior stylists with their requests

Entry requirements

A-C English and Maths or equivalent

Qualifications taken

• Full Hair Apprenticeship Standard in Professional Hairdressing
• Attendance at Bletchley college
• Ongoing training support from the employer
• Observations and assesments
• Demonstrating professionalism values behaviours and communication skills along with safe working practice 
• Funtional skills if required

What Next?

You will be able to become a permanent member of staff on completion of the apprenticeship. The employer may offer an alternative salary from the stated weekly wage. You will be required to work some late evenings and Saturdays, however, start and finish times will vary.
