Course Team Leader - Construction

HCUC, a merger of Harrow College and Uxbridge College, has excellent facilities for the delivery of Building & Construction provision. We are now seeking a Course Team Leader, with a background in either Electrical Installation or Plumbing, to co-ordinate and develop the curriculum on a range of programmes in Construction, teach across these courses and provide leadership for a team of Lecturers.   You will develop the full time and commercial work within the section, including tracking of achievement and implementing the Internal Verification process for these programmes.   

You will possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Construction/Engineering, assessor/verifier awards and experience of teaching Electrical Installation or Plumbing.   You should possess an advanced level teaching qualification and have a good understanding of best practice in teaching and learning.  You should also have some experience of team supervisory/leadership and preferably some curriculum co-ordination experience.
