Working week: 9am-5:30pm (1 hour for lunch)

Do you have a genuine enthusiasm for customer service? Do you have the motivation to learn and a real passion for helping people? Safesmart is looking for a driven, enthusiastic and professional apprentice to work in their customer service team.

The apprentice will be providing support to maintain Safesmart's growing customer base, ensuring Smartlog, the online risk and management compliance portal is monitored on a daily basis.

You will be working within a friendly and supportive office environment supporting the services to existing customers.

Main tasks will include:

  • Setting up new customer accounts; adding users, updating checks, tests and risk assessment data and ensuring all training courses booked are assigned to appropriate users
  • Reviewing customer accounts to ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date
  • Advising and assisting customers over the telephone on how they manage the compliance and safety of their organisation
  • Assisting to achieve monthly and annual Account Management targets on an individual and team basis
  • Advising customers of additional services we supply and passing leads onto the engineering team
  • Responding to all customer enquiries as per their expectations or agreed service levels
  • Any other administration tasks as required Adhere to all Company policies and procedures Aware of Health & Safety procedures e.g. Health & Safety at Work

Entry requirements:

GCSE Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)
