Report and Dashboard Developer

At Hartpury, we aim to provide a unique high quality experience in a focused and supportive environment, challenging our learners in the pursuit of excellence. Having implemented a new student records system that brings together Further and Higher Education data, we are investing in support posts to assist in the continued development of our integrated information systems.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced report and dashboard developer to develop and support the delivery of reporting projects as part of the UNIT-e SRS implementation at Hartpury.

The role requires strong analytical and problem solving skills, an aptitude to demonstrate initiative, and innovation in how best to utilise the available information and tools to provide engaging, insightful reports and data visualisations.

Working closely with colleagues across a wide range of services, you will gather business requirements from cross-functional teams to identify the appropriate reporting solution.

You will be required to manage the design, construction, testing, optimisation and deployment of the subsequent complex data reports and to act as first line support for users.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of querying complex databases and producing a wide range of management, business and data reports.  Experience within the Further Education or Higher Education section is desirable, but not essential.

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.  We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Vetting and Barring Scheme checks along with other relevant employment checks.
