Counselling Lecturer

We are seeking to appoint a self-motivated individual as an Hourly Paid Lecturer in Counselling. This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding area of the curriculum, which boasts continued learner success and achievement. 

You will be expected to teach Counselling programmes, at level 2 and 3.

You will be required to work on Tuesday and Thursday evenings, from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.

The College uses ABC Awards as the awarding body for counselling provision.

The successful candidate must:

  • Hold a minimum Level 4 Therapeutic Counselling Qualification
  • Have post-qualifying experience as a professional practitioner, working in a range of different therapeutic environments
  • Be a current practitioner
  • Be a member of a recognised professional body and have an active commitment to on-going professional development, in line with national recommendations
