28 hours per week / 4 days per week (to include Monday).

Are you a pro-active, enthusiastic and a personable individual?  Do you have excellent knowledge of employment legislation and best practice?  If so we have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a HR Adviser. 

In this pivotal role you will provide professional proactive support to a number of stakeholders in ER cases, including performance management, organisational change and absence issues. This truly generalist role will undertake project work and provide HR advice and guidance to managers and staff which supports the implementation of the College’s strategic HR objectives, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.

You will be expected to work across both College campuses.

About You:

You will be educated to CIPD Level 5 and have Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English.

To be successful in this role you will have had previous experience in a HR role and in confidently managing ER cases to conclusion. 

You will be an effective communicator and enjoy the challenge of working to rapidly changing priorities.  Flexibility, pace and resilience are key as is the ability to manage competing demands in a fast-paced environment. 

You will need to be comfortable with prioritising your own workload and working to tight deadlines therefore being pro-active and organised is essential for this role. 

A team player you will have experience of being able to develop sustainable relationships with stakeholders.

Experience of using iTrent or a comparable payroll / HR system would be advantageous.
