An exciting opportunity has arisen to join DANCOP (Derbyshire and Nottingham Collaborative Outreach Programme) at Nottingham College STEM Centre. 

The Faculty of Science, Health and Care at Nottingham College offers students the opportunity to study a range of courses. Students can chose from a large range of subjects in a friendly and supportive environment with excellent teaching, first class facilities and opportunities for a range of sporting, leisure and cultural activities. 

We are looking for a Biology lecturer who is a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher to join our faculty. The successful applicant will be able to teach at Levels 3 e.g. Access to HE, 4 and 5 including HNC and HND. You will be a responsible and confident teacher who has the skills to inspire both pupils and colleagues.   You will have an imaginative approach to teaching that generates wonderfully creative lessons to fully engage and inspire your students.

Applicants should have recent experience of teaching Biology, either in their current post or as part of their PGCE. 

Applicants should have the ability to work as part of a team and develop and share innovative and stimulating teaching and learning resources. 

Applicants must be passionate about teaching in the FE sector, and be committed to ensuring that our learners make the best possible progress. As such, applicants must also have a good sense of humour, the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.

You will have a teaching qualification and be passionate about being a professional educator to young people.
