We are looking for an inspirational and adaptable Programme Area Lead to contribute to the successful organisation and management of our Access to HE provision within Loughborough College. The successful candidate will support individual teaching and curriculum support staff to meet challenging quality assurance and standards targets within the department and work closely with the Curriculum Manager to raise levels of learner achievement and contribute to the Department’s growth and development strategy.
Reporting to the Curriculum Manager you will be responsible for leadership of programme delivery and related support ensuring high quality learning opportunities for learners. You will have specific responsibility for the learner experience and contribute to the successful planning, co-ordination, implementation and execution of external examination, assessment boards and validations.
We are looking for an individual who can deliver excellent teaching and learning, and who can inspire others across a range of Access to HE subjects, including health studies, social sciences and business.
The successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to motivate learners and teaching colleagues with significant teaching experience in an appropriate subject. You should also have ambition and a can-do-attitude with a relevant degree and a teaching qualification.
