Working week: Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm, 38 hours per week
The role would be initially an administrative role where the candidate would develop and improve our administrative Systems within the sales department, which primarily will involve our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. We foresee this to be the first 3‐6 months of employment.
Responsibilities:
- CRM System overview and information management (3‐6 months)
- Production of sales and production drawings of furnaces and associated equipment using AutoCAD and Inventor
- Engineering estimates of all facets of furnace plant design, using excel, to enable the cost to be calculated
- Production of Design calculations using excel. Ability to produce stress calculations essential
- Production of Contract Programs using Microsoft Project
- Production of viable designs of all aspects of the plant including mechanical, electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics, refractory, control systems
- Liaison with other Departments, Customers, Suppliers so good communication skills essential
- Complying with all relevant aspects of Company Quality and Health and safety systems.
- Preparation of presentations using Powerpoint
- Able to understand, operate within and produce detailed cost budgets and timing plans.
- Able to produce reports, specifications and tender documents using word in grammatically correct English
