Fixed term to 30 November 2019, 35 hours per week.
Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
As an HR&OD Business Partner, you will support your aligned areas by providing a comprehensive, professional and proactive HR service, to enable the delivery of strategic goals and objectives in line with departmental strategy and also as part of the People Strategy with a focus on continuous improvement. You will also line manage your aligned HR Advisor and HR Assistant.
The ideal candidate will be MCIPD qualified and will have worked in a similar role. You will have the ability to foster excellent working relationships, ensuring a high level of customer service. It is essential that you have up to date knowledge of current and forthcoming employment legislation/best practice. It is also essential that the post holder will have the ability to execute organisational change, manage complex employee relations casework and policy development.
This role will also involve working with recognised trade unions and undertaking collective bargaining so it is essential that you have demonstrable experience of influencing and people management skills.
The post holder will lead on Learning and Development for the organisation, this will include, developing leadership and management development programmes, launching an annual workshop programme and developing annual plans for staff conferences in line with strategic imperatives.
