Responsibilities:

• Meeting and greeting clients
• Making refreshments
• Reception duties
• Shampooing and conditioning clients hair
• Assisting stylists in all aspects of their work
• Keeping the salon clean and tidy
• Maintaining equipment and stock
• Demonstrate the professionalism, values, behaviours, communication skills and safe working practices

Desired qualifications:

• Minimum of GCSE (or equivalent) grade C/4 or above in English and Maths.

This role is suitable for school, college or university leavers as predicted grades will be accepted.

Training:

At Seckingtons we provide all practical training in house to the highest standards, all training is delivered by Seckingtons assessors, this ensures that you are salon floor ready once qualified.

Extra training such as Aveda, ghd and Fantastic Hairdresser courses are also provided throughout your apprenticeship, with opportunities to travel oversees to seminars and shows.

Full apprenticeship standard in Hairdressing Professionals

• Functional Skills (if required, in both English and Maths)
• Monthly College Attendance at Bletchley Campus
• Regular visits from the college into the workplace
• Teaching assessments and observations in the workplace
• On-going training and support from the employer
• 5 additional salon training days annually
• End point assessment
