Working week: Monday to Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm, 37 hours per week

Inspiring Futures through Learning are looking for a Business Support Apprentice, based in the Trust team at Fairfields Primary School. If you're looking to kick start your career in the business and education sector, this could be the one for you.

The role holder would support the core team with a particular focus on communications, events and administration work.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of support for events and communications including web-posts, events organisation and administration with additional social media promotion as appropriate
  • Ensuring the relevant upkeep to databases and data held in line with regulations
  • Respond to general enquiries from staff and members of the public
  • Provide administration to the core team
  • Provide diary support to the core team
  • Organising, resourcing and taking minutes of internal trust meetings

  • Be able to demonstrate good interpersonal and assertiveness skills

Desired qualifications:

GCSE or equivalent Level 2 qualification in Maths and English Grade A*-C/4-9

This role is suitable for school, college or university leavers as predicted grades will be accepted.

  • Training at College, online learning and independent study in the workplace
  • Visits from the College into the workplace
