Perth College UHI is one of Scotland’s leading Colleges of Further and Higher Education, and a large partner in Scotland’s newest University, the University of the Highlands and Islands.
The Learning Technologies Centre at Perth College UHI seeks to appoint a part-time Learning Technologist to help support the use of new technologies across the College, deliver technology related training sessions, and package learning materials for College curricular areas and for external clients. Within this overall purpose, the Learning Technologies Manager will identify and agree both individual and shared responsibilities and targets.
The post is available from August 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter. The post will be available until June 2019.
Candidates should have experience of working within an educational establishment, and preparation of learning and teaching materials for online delivery. Candidates should be qualified to HND level in an IT related discipline, or hold an instructional design qualification or similar. Well-developed interpersonal/communication skills and strong organisational skills are essential, with a methodical but efficient and flexible approach to work.
