We are seeking one full time and two part time (23 hours per week) Learning Resource Specialists to provide support for the day to day running of the College’s Learning Resource Centre at our Harrow-on-the-Hill Campus.
Responsibilities include dealing with general enquiries from students and staff and ensuring the Learning Resource Centre is a suitable learning environment at all times. You would facilitate the loan of learning resources, including online resources and e-books, using the library management system. You would also assist in the preparation of electronic resource guides and assist in the marketing of resources including preparing materials for the College’s Virtual Learning Environment. You will also assist in the delivery of induction and study skills sessions to students.
You should be educated to a good standard, with good literacy skills, and have good working knowledge of IT systems. Excellent customer service and organisational skills are also required. Experience of working in a library or learning resource/education environment is desirable.
