Physiotherapist/Sports Therapist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Physiotherapist/Sport Therapist to support our Football Centre of Excellence (COE) at Grantham College.

We are looking for an outstanding person to take responsibility for leading the medical, physiotherapy and rehabilitation provision.

Job hours for this role are 10 hours per week. 

There will be two injury assessment and rehabilitation clinics with at least one fixture each week. You will be expected to report any injuries and take control of medical information. The purpose of the role is to support our players to maximise their full potential.  

The main responsibilities will be to:

• Lead, develop and maintain the COE medical provision and support the staff when required
• Produce reports outlining relevant information and progress of each play that visits the medical clinics
• Ensure the management of injuries meet the COE commitment to the welfare of players
• Ensure appropriate physiotherapy support is available at all times including the provision of stocked medical supplies and provide pitch side first aid for fixtures

You will need to have:

• Professional membership of the Health & Care Professions Council & be a registered Physiotherapist
• A degree qualification
• A Football Association First Aid for Sport qualification or a first aid qualification
• A Full UK Driving Licence
• Be experienced working with 16-18 year olds
• Have excellent communication, ICT & organisational skills
