We have a great opportunity at Rainsbrook Secure Training Centre to join the education team as our Engagement and Resettlement Guidance Worker on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

The purpose of the role is to manage the engagement and resettlement, inclusion and support services, ensuring learners are appropriately assessed and receive relevant information regarding the learning and skills provision. This is a challenging but rewarding role and we need someone who is flexible and resilient, with the ability to encourage, engage and motivate, to help give children and young people a brighter future.

To do this successfully, you'll need to:

  • Have relevant experience of conducting initial assessments and supporting learning of individuals and groups.
  • Have experience of working with groups of learners with a range of abilities and presenting challenging behaviour.
  • Have a track record of effectively motivating and managing a high performing and effective team.
  • Hold a Level 6 information, advice and guidance qualification.
