Teacher/Lecturer in Photography

This is fixed term maternity cover post until July 2019.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and inspiring Lecturer in Photography, with high standards, who will be fully committed to ensuring our students achieve their full potential.  A good track record of success in teaching A level Photography and relevant work experience would be an advantage.

We currently teach the AQA specification and we anticipate two groups of year 12 and one group of year 13 students in the next academic year.

As a Lecturer in Photography you’ll teach creativity and innovation through encouragement and experimentation. Using your knowledge and skills across all levels and abilities, you will be responsible for teaching the essential skills that are necessary for students to be successful in this industry.

As a Lecturer in Photography, you should have:

  • GCSE A*- C / 9-4 in Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent)
  • Experience of working with 16-18 year olds, ideally in a teaching capacity
