HE Programme Leader: Public Services/Public Sector

Have you been on the front line, or could share your experience of running a public service department? If so, our students would love to learn from you.

Whether our students wish to serve their country or community, Wakefield College can help them achieve their aspirations. It’s a fantastic department, with lots of strong links in the district. We offer operational visits, talks from inspirational people, activity days and opportunities to really get involved with and understand the various channels of employment in Public Services outside of the lecture room.

As HE Programme Leader - Public Services/Public Sector, we will expect you to be fully committed to doing whatever it takes to ensure our students achieve their full potential and within Public Services. Specifically, you’ll deliver practical and theoretical curriculum to further education and higher education students.

If you haven’t got your teaching certificate, don’t worry. Wakefield College will support your professional development through our Programme of Excellence.

We’re looking for someone with a degree in a relevant Public Service subject, who is adaptable and collaborative and who loves to see learning happen. And of course, you’ll know all about the current job options and areas for Public Service students.

See what we have to offer and come join us. You won’t be disappointed.
