Post 1: Hours: 16 hours per week, 38 weeks per year
             Salary: £5,666 (FTE £15,260)

Post 2: Hours: 21 hours per week, 44 weeks per year
             Salary: £8,532 (FTE £15,260)

This is an essential role to provide high quality cleaning services for our training kitchens, corridors and communal areas in order to assist with the smooth running of classes in the hospitality and catering department. Key to this role with be working as part of a busy team to deliver, collect and ensure safe storage of ingredients to classes. In addition, the candidates will be required to work alongside the Landings 72 students and teaching staff to support the college restaurant wash up area as and when required.

The role will involve identifying and reporting any hazards and faults to ensure a safe environment is maintained, as well as carrying out checks and cleaning of kitchen equipment, in addition to any other tasks as required by site and Food Stores Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have a Basic Food Handlers Certificate or willingness to work towards and Minimum of Level 1 in English (e.g. GCSE grade D – F) or equivalent, or able to demonstrate.
